When temperatures were like this in Chicago in JUNE after nine months of cold weather, I was LIVID because all I wanted was to be able to sit on a shady bench without needing to wear a sweater when a slight breeze passed through. After nine months of cold I was bitter. But there are thousands of people who do it for all their lives in Chicago. You can do it, too!
Clearly, my point has been missed. Although, to your point, I don't know if 71 degrees and raining is really better after a long winter when all you want is warmth. But anything is better than this heat. My goodness, the heat! (to be fair to Texas, this is the first heat wave of the summer, but still, it's so oppressive...106 today)!
