Welcome to the 80's.

I hope your trip went well...

Oh,  how nice, I hear they take real good care of their customers. Do you need any help with your bags?

Staying for 6 months I see, well then, I'll just place this in your room.

We have all the latest appliances, even those that may be necessary when traveling with children. You never know when they might need that late night bottle.

Feel free to put anything you like into the fridge.

And the bathroom is just across from your room. Oops, looks like someone's in there at the moment, but we all know what a bathroom looks like, don't we?

And should you need to make a phone call, there is a phone right there on the wall by the front door.

Enjoy your stay!

    1. Dwija, I'm not gonna lie, when I thinkof the phone I totally think of you. Just seems like something you would like and probably have owned at some point. It still lights up and everything when people call.

Unfortunately it only has two ringers... I'm in the shower and need to be able to hear it over the water and through a closed door ringtone...or...silent.

    1. LOL! Don't worry, sometimes I look older than SZRON, but I am only as old as the bottle warmer. The SZROn is just that awesome.

  5. Based on the 4x6 Christmas photo you have of us from two years ago, I can see how that fridge would be awesome for a bachelor. SZRON sounds like a villain of Superman. This is an excellent post, Liv.

  6. These old fridges are undesrtoyable. They never break in the opposite to the modern ones...True that they use much more energy tho...:)

  7. Only 1 bathroom? Or toilet and shower?

    1. This is a half bath, so toilet and sink, but we don't use it as it has a funny smell. So we all just use the one big bathroom. Working for now...

  8. I think I still have a phone just like that. It's in my garage under all my Culture Club albums.

  9. Hi, I just stumbled onto your blog. Welcome to Poland! We're living in the North of Poland, Bydgoszcz, with our 3 kids. You're welcome to drop in when you're in the area. :) I see that you moved from Austin.. did you grow up there? I graduated from Anderson (NW Austin), and my husband is from a small town outside of Beaumont (SE Texas).

Anyway, I hope that the family is slowly getting used to Poland. Also that your grocery shopping trips take under 3 hours now - mine took forever in the beginning as I had to use my pocket translator for *everything*. My funniest find so far; garlic shampoo at Real. Haha.

    Hope all is well.

    1. Laura, how can I contact you? It would be great to get together! I had friends who graduated from Anderson High and I've driven through Beaumont. ;) Thanks for commenting!
